A commitment to employee learning drives our ongoing success. Continuous opportunities to learn and develop your career are a major priority at Honeywell. This section will provide you with information about some of our programs that improve your skills and insights, both on the job and through professional training.
Continuous Learning
Learning is part of the fabric of Honeywell. Learning is ongoing and crucial to your career development. Tied to your development needs, it enables you to acquire new skills and increase your knowledge, preparing you for new challenges and roles within Honeywell. Continuous learning programs include experiences on the job, relationships with peers and bosses, classroom learning, eLearning, and professional development.
As a Honeywell employee, you can participate in job-related training at our regional Learning Centers. You will attend seminars or qualify for tuition/fee reimbursement when pursuing degrees and certifications that are related to your job. You will have the opportunity to earn a Green Belt for completing a Six Sigma Plus project that impacts the bottom line.
You also have access to the Honeywell Learning Management System (LMS), a global Web-based learning library, registration, and management system.
Performance and Development
In order to progress, you must continuously develop your talents. The Honeywell Performance & Development process enables leaders to align individual objectives to business goals, assess performance in terms of results and Honeywell Behaviors, develop action plans to support current and future success, and provide candid feedback that helps each individual grow.
Honeywell Learning professionals have developed a series of Functional Development Roadmaps to help your manager and you create a personal development plan to help you meet your long-range goals.
Also available to all employees is the Honeywell 360° Feedback Process. It provides you with feedback from people you interact with every day to help you develop critical skills and improve performance.
