Honeywell Among ‘Most Attractive Employers’ in the Czech Republic


Honeywell has been selected as one of “Czech Republic's Most Attractive Employers 2016." For the third consecutive year, Honeywell ranked in a top spot – third within the engineering students category. The award was announced on April 5, 2016, at the Universum Awards Conference held in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Universum Company, in collaboration with student’s media portal “Studenta Media”, conducts the annual career survey in the Czech Republic. The largest survey conducted in the country, it is aimed at identifying career preferences and expectations of young Czech talents. Around 15,000 undergraduate students from 63 universities and more than 4,000 professionals participated in the survey.

Honeywell Among ‘Most Attractive Employers’ in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a cornerstone of Honeywell’s global engineering strategy in Europe. The Prague Laboratory opened in 1993 and the Brno Design Center, which became Honeywell Technology Solutions, followed ten years later. Honeywell has also established partnerships with key technical universities, including Brno University of Technology and Czech Technical University, in Prague to collaborate on programs that provide an integrated academic and industrial experience for science and engineering students.

The Swedish company Universum is a leader in employer branding consultation, providing solutions and services in employer best practices to its global clients. The company conducts the survey annually, and it involves more than 1.3 million respondents from more than 2,200 schools in nearly 60 countries.
