BA - 250 Baro Altimeter Display

BA-250 Baro Altimeter DisplayThe BA - 250 Barometric Altitude Indicator is an electronic altitude indicator designed for use in new or retrofit applications as one of the components needed to meet the FAA‘s Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) flight requirements. The BA - 250 is certified as part of a system to be used on a specific aircraft type to meet RVSM requirements. The BA - 250 is an indicator to display barometric altitude. All altitude data is received via a digital interface from an Air Data Computer (ADC). The local sea level barometric pressure is entered via the BA - 250 Baro Set knob and transmitted to the air data computer for use in the altitude calculation. The BA - 250 also receives several other inputs for determining operating mode via hardwired discrete inputs in the aircraft installation.
