 Pilot Audio Control
In the 1970s Baker Electronics in an attempt to centralize and simplify the many audio sources in the cockpit began manufacturing a line of pilot audio controls. These devices have since become widely standard throughout the business jet industry as "Baker Boxes." Baker Electronics was acquired by Honeywell in 2002 and now continues to offer its line of pilot audio controls as Honeywell Cabin Management, Systems and Services (CMSS).
Pilot audio controls provide the pilot with full control of transmit, receive interphone and paging functions between the cockpit and the cabin. Available in a multiple layouts, our pilot audio controls all use a reliable low noise, high performance amplifier to provide automatic leveling for headphone and speaker operations. |
