Air Data Tester
Most aircraft manufacturers are revising aircraft maintenance practices to ensure that aircraft stay compliant with FAA-approved RVSM performance budgets. The current altimetry system test and inspection tolerances (FAR Part 43 Appendix E) are typically tightened to accommodate RVSM requirements. Honeywell’s ADT-222C is smaller, lighter and consumes less power than previous versions. The ADT-222C provides many new features--such as the ability to store 10 profiles--while maintaining the same efficient and user-friendly interface.
One of the most significant improvements is the use of Honeywell’s new silicon pressure sensor, which extends the calibration cycle to a minimum of six months. Honeywell can provide a ground equipment manual and generic test procedures, which allow any certified repair center to function as an altimetry system check station. |
