 The Honeywell SP-150 Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) provides three-axis flight stabilization through the use of rate gyros in the yaw damper couplers and derived rate networks in the pitch and roll channels.
The AFCS also provides coordinated automatic maneuvering of the airplane to maintain or change attitude, altitude and heading. The SP-150 autopilot includes improved operating performance for tracking of navigational beam references which are supplied through the appropriate radio equipment.
