 Standardized Advanced Air Transport Features
Honeywell brought full Flight Management capability to the Fokker F70 and F100 with a rich feature set much like other air transport aircraft. Full takeoff to landing vertical and horizontal guidance, including company routes, SIDs and STARs, airway navigation and pilot defined waypoints give optimized performance and seamless fleet operations.
The Fokker flight deck philosophy requires the dual FMS systems to operate independently to provide redundancy for critical flight phases, and reduces pilot work load by auto tuning VOR/DME stations and automatically aligning inertial reference units. Many performance parameters are also available for reducing fuel burn and optimizing flight path for environmental conditions. |
