The IntuVue family of weather radars uses the latest advances in airborne hazard and weather detection and mechanical design to provide maximum efficiency and value for the user:
These features allow pilots to quickly identify and analyze weather hazards at up to 320 nautical miles. This long range capability allows pilots to reroute sooner for maximum fuel efficiency and to ensure an on-time arrivals.
IntuVue is quickly becoming the first choice for airlines world-wide because of its comprehensive features and 3-D display and analysis tools that provide airlines the right information at the right time, to make the most informed decision possible to ensure passenger safety and comfort while reducing fuel consumption and still facilitating on-time arrivals in even the most adverse weather conditions.
IntuVue is available on the B777, B737, A320, A330 and A340 as SSFE/BFE equipment. It is also part of the integrated surveillance system—the Aircraft Environmental Surveillance System (AESS)—on the Airbus A380, it has also been selected for the A350. Other certifications are pending.
