 Honeywell's T55 engine provides proven power, reliability and durability using the latest engine technology. 4,200 engines have been produced powering the Boeing Ch-47 Chinook, MH-47 and Model 234 helicopters.The T55 engine provides 3,570 shaft horsepower, flies at a maximum speed of 163 mph (142 knots) and has proven its abilities with over 6 million service hours. A development program is underway to support future growth requirements.
