Primus® 701/701A Search and Rescue Weather Radar System |

 Honeywell’s Primus 701 Search and Rescue Weather Radar is the finest system available with surveillance and search modes integrated with color weather radar. Primus 701 has all of the features of the Primus 700 but has the additional beacon detection.
Now available are the ‘A’ versions that incorporate Arinc 749 and Arinc 708 interfaces allowing compatibility with a wide range of display products. In addition, these ‘A’ versions boast features such as a ruggedized chassis, reduced EMI emissions and susceptibility, and improved blanking outputs. Primus 701 operates with either a weather radar indicator or with an EFIS system using controllers. Features Include: SAR with sea-clutter reduction 10 KW of transmitter power Minimum Detection Range as low as 450 feet Doppler turbulence detection Display range as cloase as 1/2 nm Pulse widths as low as 100 nsec OSAP clear zones shown on the indicator Two beacon modes: track and navigation 2 grounding mapping modes SART Beacon Detection Helicopter certified. |
