Honeywell Brand Management

How Endorsed Brands Relate to Master Brand

The brands identified as Honeywell Endorsed Brands are co-branded with both their own unique logo and the Honeywell name.

Each of these brands has its own logotype, which is used independently on products and communications materials. In addition, the Honeywell Endorsed Brand logotype must be used with the phrase “by Honeywell”, as specified in the “Exceptions” section below.

Exceptions:

Logotype

The Honeywell Endorsed Brand logotype must be used with the phrase "by Honeywell” on every Endorsed Brand advertisement, brochure or other internal or external communications vehicle produced by the company.

Used together, the Endorsed Brand logotype and the endorsement phrase are “locked up,” which means they have a consistent and unique spatial relationship.

The lockup is defined in this example.

If you’re creating communications materials using an Endorsed Brand logotype with lockup, use the standard files available in the Logo Library.

Aftermarket Endorsed Brand

Garrett brand products are granted Endorsed Brand status in the aftermarket segment. This means they will use a logotype with the phrase "by Honeywell" directly below the Garrett logo. For all other identity standards, they will follow the Honeywell Visual Identity System.

Endorsed Brand Logo Migration

Brand migration strategies will be developed in consultation with the business unit communications leader and the Honeywell Brand Council.

This migration philosophy and strategic process will also be followed for companies and brands acquired in the future. Brand migration should be considered by business units involved in merger and acquisition activities, as part of the due diligence and integration processes.

The following brand logo migration examples are shown for illustrative purposes only. Each brand-migration plan is unique and will include specific interim steps and timelines.
