Measuring and Testing Systems for Brakes and Brake Pad Testing
|
| Measuring and Testing Systems for Brakes and Brake Pad Testing | | | For about 20 years, JURID has developed, manufactured and marketed measuring systems for brakes and brake pad testing worldwide. Some of these systems have become industry standards. The main product groups are:
| | Mobile vehicle measuring and evaluation systems | | | Test rigs and test rig controls | | | Compressibility measuring equipment |
In many countries, JURID vehicle measuring and evaluation systems have been the de facto standard in the brake / brake pad trials sector for about 20 years. |
| Mobile Vehicle Measuring and Evaluation Systems | | | To cover all types of brake trials, JURID provides several inter-compatible measuring devices.
Main model “D3” technical data: 31 analogue measuring channels 5 counting inputs 12 trigger inputs
Compact model E 0 technical data: 31 analogue measuring channels 5 counting inputs 12 trigger inputs can be extended by 2 free slots for special cards | | various additional modules for noise analysis and RTV measurements | | | various sensors for brake trials | | | brake specific evaluation package under Windows |
|
| Test Rigs and Test Rig Controls | | | Honeywell Bremsbelag GmbH develops, produces and markets test rig controls and complete test rig systems for general and special test requirements for cars / HGVs and railway brakes as well as multi-disc test rigs.
High performance test rig controls for all types of brake test rigs:
Special features:
| | Vehicle and governor simulations | | | Double test rigs |
Complete test rigs:
| | Noise and universal test rigs | | | Compact test rigs for friction coefficient and RTV tests |
|
| Compressibility Measuring Devices | | | The level of comfort provided by disc brake pads, such as chatter, rubbing, etc., is determined by their elasticity, i.e. the ability to adapt to different disc surfaces. The compressibility measuring device developed by Honeywell Bremsbelag GmbH to determine specific pad characteristics, permits measurements according to the global specifications for cars and trucks, respectively ISO 6310 and VDA 285-1 / 2.
The computer-controlled device permits measurements up to 500 °C. In addition to compressibility measurements, heat transmission and pad enlargement can be measured. |
