TPE 331 Cost Protection Programs

331 Centuary+Airworthiness Plan –Factory Repairs at Reduced PricingTPE 331 Century+ Airworthiness Plan - Factory Repairs at Reduced Pricing

The TPE331 Century+ Airworthiness Plan provides reduced cost factory repairs for Century, -10, and 840-series engines to restore them to airworthiness status. The plan reduces the cost of TPE331 ownership through the use of continued time hardware and repairs made to maintenance manual criteria for both unscheduled maintenance and scheduled inspections prior to overhaul. In addition, a not-to-exceed cost cap is offered on engine pre-overhaul scheduled events.

For an unscheduled engine maintenance event, cost reductions of up to 25% are possible on our published list repair, overhaul, and/or part price (excluding labor and consumables).

For scheduled hot section inspections and TBO extensions, the Century+ Airworthiness Plan protects the owner/operator with a not-to-exceed price cap, which limits cost exposure when replacing cycle life components, while also offering material repair price reductions.

The price cap includes parts, labor and test of engine in Phoenix. Pricing excludes removal and replacement of the engine from the airframe and any applicable taxes.

To take advantage of the TPE331 Century+ Airworthiness Plan, you need only contact any authorized Honeywell TPE331 Service Center. Your service center will disassemble your engine, inspect it and send all parts requiring repair or replacement to Phoenix, including all scrap materials which will be retained at the factory. Phoenix will repair or replace your parts and return them to your service center as a "kit", ready for reassembly into your engine. If you choose an authorized TPE331 line service center, they can remove your entire engine and ship it to Phoenix for inspection and maintenance.

TPE 331 Maintenance Service Plan (MSP)
The TPE331 MSP program is a flight hour based fee program that offers comprehensive coverage at an affordable price. With the flexibility of receiving service at over 125 authorized service centers worldwide, you receive the most up-to-date service available from the company that originally built your engines. More importantly, you'll be able to eliminate high-cost surprises by accurately forecasting maintenance budgets beforehand, and the program is fully transferable (a valuable asset is being accrued which is recoverable at the time of aircraft sale). MSP is available to operators of either new or used engines.  TPE 331 Maintenance Service Plan (MSP)

TPE 331 Flat Rate Programs
Flat rates are fixed fee programs for scheduled maintenance events which may have additive charges or can be made all-inclusive. Flat rates are available for a multitude of repair services involving single components or for a complete engine. The Honeywell Repair and Overhaul catalog contains a high percentage of flat rates for the items contained therein.

Overhauls and CAM inspections are flat rated but reflect different pricing, depending upon whether the engine is used in executive service, regional airlines, or in ag/utility operations. To qualify for engine flat rate programs, the engine must be operational, have no evidence of FOD or corrosion and have complete logs and records. Flat rate pricing is accessed for executive operators through the approved TPE331 Service Center network while regional operators deal directly with Honeywell.

It should be noted that a flat rate engine (for example, a TPE331-10) in executive service may include different service bulletins and life-limited components than the same engine model which is used in regional services.
