|  Honeywell’s active sidestick controls evolve flight control systems and technology into next generation capabilities that reduce costs and help improve cockpit and operational efficiency. As a replacement for conventional column controls or for use in fly-by-wire systems, this innovative flight control helps improve operator accuracy and control system response by providing the simulated feel of torque and other forces on the control stick normally projected by the operator to be felt in situations involving use of the joystick. Easier to learn than traditional flight deck configuration, the sidestick’s feedback can be tailored to the control system to take best advantage of sensory coupling and coordination with the pilot. |
