F125 |
 |
| | | The F125 Turbofan engine is produced by the International Turbine Engine Company (ITEC), LLC, a partnership of Honeywell and AIDC. The F125 provides modern, reliable and safe propulsion for advanced fixed wing training and combat aircraft. Its features include an advanced dual FADEC control system, modular construction, integrated engine health monitoring system (EMS), and outstanding power-to-weight ratio. The F125 is similar to the F124 but incorporates an afterburner module to achieve increased thrust levels. |
| | | The F125’s efficient and durable design and construction allows for surge free operation throughout the flight envelope. The F125 is currently in service on the AIDC Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF), operated by the Republic of China Air Force in Taiwan. Since its introduction in 1991, over 325 engines have been delivered. | |
