 Honeywell Tianjin Global Design Center was set up in 2002 with a focus on developing products for global markets. The Center is located in the Honeywell Automation & Control Products manufacturing facility in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area. The Center’s design engineering team of 40 scientists and technicians employ best in class tools and processes for all new designs, including standard MCAD and ECAD software development tools, standard Honeywell product development methodologies and Design for Six Sigma tools. The first products to be developed at this facility include thermostats, actuators, cooling systems and other control components for Buildings automation and Home controls. The team is expected to grow with the increased need for new Honeywell products in China, Asia and the world market.
