Precious Medal

Honeywell traces its Specialty Materials heritage to the groundbreaking work of Dr. William Nichols, an American chemical industry pioneer. After decades of business success, Nichols established the prestigious award that bears his name – the Nichols Medal. The medal, which promotes science education and chemical research, is administered by the New York Section of the American Chemical Society. Many of those who have received the medal, first presented in 1903, have gone on to receive Nobel Prize recognition.
