Summer Science Week 2014 | Corporate Citizenship | Honeywell
August 25, 2014
Sixty-two Central New York middle school students completed Honeywell Summer Science Week during summer 2014. The week-long exploration of the Onondaga Lake watershed, led by the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) in Syracuse, aims to inspire students to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math education while becoming environmental stewards in their communities. Students studied local birds in their habitats, bug collecting, water testing, and GPS sampling procedures.
Honeywell has hosted the program since 2005 with more than 500 students participating.
