    Meet a #futureshaper: Beck Yu

    He's helping aircraft stay longer in the sky.

    Beck Yu is responsible for selling and maintaining airplane equipment. 

    He has been working at Honeywell for 18 years. His advice for someone joining the company: Remain curious. Work hard. Stay passionate.

    Based in Beijing, China; here is his #futureshaper story.

    When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

    I wanted to be able to travel and see the world.

    What brought you to Honeywell?

    The Honeywell vision – to work in a safer world.

    What gets you excited about going to work every day?

    Working with top talent from around the world and learning from others who have different experiences and viewpoints.

    If you were a fortune reader, what would you predict as the future of your industry?

    Supersonic airplanes - powered by nuclear fusion that travel at a much faster rate than today. Imagine flying from Beijing to New York in 2 hours.

    In your eyes, what qualities does a #futureshaper possess?

    A #futureshaper has a passion and exudes positive energy.

    When you are not working, what do you do for fun?

    I am a runner and like to travel the world by foot whether it be Pyongyang, New York, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago…the list goes on.
