Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Security and Communications
Mark James is Honeywell’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Security and Communications.
Mark is responsible for leading global human resources strategy and programs for the company’s 110,000 employees in more than 70 countries. In 2013, he was named HR Executive of the Year by HR Executive Magazine.
Prior to this position, Mark was Vice President of Human Resources and Communications for Honeywell Aerospace. He initially joined Honeywell in 2000 as Director of Human Resources for Federal Manufacturing & Technologies and was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources for Aerospace Electronic Systems.
Before Honeywell, Mark held a variety of human resources positions with Iomega, JM Family Enterprises (Toyota distributor), AT&T and Lockheed Martin.
Mark holds a master’s degree from the University of Utah in Public Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, and a business administration degree in Personnel and Industrial Relations from Utah State University. He is a designated Senior Professional in Human Resources, Certified Compensation and Benefits Professional and Certified Benefits Professional and certified Six Sigma Leadership Black Belt.
