Honeywell is inventing technologies that address some of the world's toughest challenges in energy efficiency, clean energy generation, safety and security, globalization and customer productivity. With approximately 132,000 employees worldwide, including more than 22,000 engineers and scientists, we have an unrelenting focus on performance, quality, delivery, value and technology in everything we make and do.
1680 – an apple falls and inspiration strikes a young sir Isaac Newton.

2004 – the apple strikes again. Honeywell Hometown solutions in collaboration with NASA created FMA live Forces in Motion. The only national touring hip hop science educational show of its kind.

FMA live is inspiring kids to learn and love science, creating new physics fans everywhere. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education was still a critical business concern of the future. We found a way to make Newton’s laws of motion relevant to every student. We’re showing Newton’s laws of motion at work and in the workplace to help students understand that they can be forces in motion too.
And teachers asked for more support, so we delivered. They can log in to FMAlive.com for access to national science standards based teaching tools, including all the music videos and on-stage physics demos. But FMA live isn’t just about learning the building blocks of physics, it’s about inspiring middle school students to explore STEM careers.

Honeywell Hometown solutions and NASA made a careful decision, to reach out to middle school students to show them how physics and engineering affects everything around them. Students form a real connection to science and engineering that can put their future in motion.

By including video interviews with today’s working science and physics rockstars, FMA Live forces in motion makes the direct connection between physics and the possibility of great jobs in engineering in the future.

We are building a world that's safer and more secure, more comfortable and energy efficient, more innovative and productive. We are Honeywell.
