Jim Bujold Addresses ASEAN Business Outlook Dialogue Session

Jim Bujold, president of Honeywell Southeast Asia, joined the Dialogue Session on ASEAN Business Outlook 2013/14 on September 4, 2014 to discuss the economic growth prospect in ASEAN countries and business environment in this region for foreign investors. The event was hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (AmCham Malaysia) in respect to the release of the AMCHAM: ASEAN Business Outlook Survey 2014 report by the collaborative efforts of the AmCham in Singapore, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and other AmChams in the region.
More than 100 guests, including members from AmCham Malaysia and other chambers such as the American Association of Malaysia and EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the session and the networking event afterwards.
Bujold was invited to be a panelist to share Honeywell’s business strategy for Southeast Asia as well as his observations and experiences of doing business in this region, particularly in Malaysia. “ASEAN countries have long been considered a critical part of the world’s trading system, and Honeywell has identified most of them as our High Growth Regions. We continue to put our resources in this region and to where the sales are,” Bujold said.
