Honeywell Vice Chairman Andreas Kramvis Named Recipient of the Distinguished Merit Award by the Cyprus- U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Andreas Kramvis, Vice Chairman of Honeywell, was recently honored with the Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 Distinguished Merit Award. Bestowed annually, the award honors corporations and individuals who have raised the profile of Cyprus and made an extraordinary contribution in strengthening trade relations between Cyprus and the U.S.

Kramvis was appointed as Vice Chariman of Honeywell on March 2014. Prior to this role, Andreas served as President and CEO of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies, a business group that he guided to leadership positions in high technology speciality chemicals, refrigerants, petrochemical and refining technologies, and gas processing with financial performance at the very top of the chemical industry. From 2002 to 2007, Andreas led a major transformation of Honeywell’s Environmental and Combustion Controls global business, where he achieved major increases in market share and established strong profitability.
Andreas grew up in Cyprus. He attended the Nicosia and Sevenoaks School in Kent, England, where he was on OPOS scholar and studied Engineering at Cambridge University, specializing in Electronics. He holds an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School where he was the Conoco scholar. He is the author of a book titled Transforming the Corporation: Running a Business in the 21st Century, which encapsulates his proven methodology of achieving spectacular performance improvements in businesses.
