The Honeywell Smart Building Score, a global index that measures building intelligence based on the technology making them safe, green and productive, evaluated 487 buildings across seven key cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York and Boston.
The index evaluated the buildings across eight key verticals - including schools and universities, residential high-rise complexes, hospitals, private offices, commercial buildings, airports, government buildings and hotels - according to their levels of technology adoption in the three smart building categories of green, safe and smart.
