Honeywell Receives 2016 Chairman's Award From Chemistry Council of New Jersey

Honeywell received the Chemistry Council of New Jersey's (CCNJ) 2016 Chairman's Award &endash; Core Member on May 2 in Galloway Township, New Jersey, in recognition of reaching its public goals to reduce greenhouse gases, continued focus on STEM education and the Company's commitment to keep its headquarters in New Jersey. The CCNJ Chairman's Award recognizes a member company that demonstrates excellence and commitment to community, customer, shareholder and employee expectations in the areas of safety, health and environmental performance. Honeywell has been a member of CCNJ since 2000.

“All of these initiatives are proof that Honeywell and its employees are a committed and an exemplary group,” CCNJ said in honoring Honeywell. First Vice Chairwoman of CCNJ Leslie Waller remarked, “Honeywell is an American multinational conglomerate company that invents and manufactures technologies that address some of the world's most critical challenges around energy, safety, security, productivity and global urbanization. As a Core Member, Honeywell offers solutions that enhance the quality of life of people here in New Jersey and around the globe.”

CCNJ also acknowledged Honeywell employees who have been active in their support of CCNJ's advocacy activities and highlighted Honeywell's status as one of the ‘ World's Most Admired Companies,' a distinction bestowed upon it by Fortune Magazine since 2008.

Leslie Waller presented the award to Maria Kaouris, who represented Honeywell at the awards ceremony.
