Honeywell Tops Electronics Industry on Fortune's 2017 “World's Most Admired Companies”

What an honor: For the 11th consecutive year, Honeywell has been selected as one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine.
Leading the list of most admired companies in the electronics industry, Honeywell ranked first overall with a score of 7.02, up from fourth place and an overall score of 6.41 in the same category last year.

7. Royal Philips
Within the electronics industry, Honeywell received first place rankings in reputation attributes for people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, long-term investment, and quality of products/services. Honeywell ranked second place in innovation, financial soundness and global competitiveness.
Tied to Honeywell's rise in the electronics category, our growing connected home offerings include a variety of smart thermostats such the Lyric T Series Wi-Fi thermostats, the Lyric Water Leak and Freeze Detector and a recently announced the Lyric C1 Wi-Fi Security Camera. These products are available through professionals and retailers.
Fortune has published this “definitive report card on corporate reputations” list since 1983. Companies that appear on the list are selected from among 1,500 global companies. Executives, directors, and analysts are asked to rate companies in their own industry based on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed.
