FMA Live! wrapped up its fall tour on Nov. 21 after reaching more than 29,000 students at 62 schools along the western side of the United States, including the first show at a military base in Camp Pendleton, Calif. Over the past decade, the interactive, hip-hop, educational program has inspired students at more than 1,000 middle schools to learn math and science in a compelling, entertaining and unforgettable way while gaining a better understanding of how Newton's laws in physics apply to everyday life.
“This is an excellent learning opportunity for our faculty and students,” said Principal Jay Marquand, Coronado Middle School in California.
FMA Live!, which is sponsored by Honeywell Hometown Solutions, includes a comprehensive educational guide for teachers, including suggested lesson plans, videos, music and website content to help teach vital principles of physics and engineering.
