Honeywell was awarded the prestigious Gold Award for waste elimination and Quality improvement in an assembly area, by the Quality Circle Forum of India.
The Gold award recognizes the Honeywell Hopetown, India, team, who worked on a productivity improvement project, linked to batch manufacturing, work in progress (WIP) reduction and material movement flow, resulting in an 8.5 percent productivity improvement. The team focused on waste elimination & quality improvement in socket assembly process by brainstorming to improve customer satisfaction, project implementation and demonstrating quality & customer centric approach.
