Honeywell was recently honored with two respected awards for its “heroic efforts in hiring our nation’s heroes.” For the third year in a row, Honeywell was designated as a 2016 Military Friendly® Employer by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs®. Honeywell received top scores when benchmarked to companies across key programs and policies, such as the strength of military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs for veterans, and company policies on National Guard and Reserve service.

Honorees were chosen by a panel of experts, including officers in the U.S. Marine Corps, the Military.com managing editor, and veteran specialists. Honeywell rose through the ranks for its strong hiring numbers, overall percentage of veterans in the workforce, 2016 recruitment plans, makeup of recruitment staff, veteran retention, and special programs offered for veteran onboarding, training and development.
