Honeywell and its Smart Energy business was listed as a key global brand for its EnactoTM energy management software solution in two new reports issued by independent analyst firm Verdantix. The reports are based on interviews with senior energy decision-makers around the world and benchmark their levels of awareness and engagement with 14 energy management software brands.
Honeywell was among the top three firms for its energy management software solution EnactoTM and was also named a key global brand that continues to achieve positive awareness for energy management software, and with strong brand awareness in specific regions. It was also listed as the company with the strongest brand awareness, preference and engagement for energy strategy development and project implementation.
Verdantix interviewed 250 senior energy decision-makers with direct responsibilities for corporate-wide energy management strategies and initiatives, including software selection. The annual revenues of respondents’ firms were $250 million and higher, with 61% of firms having revenues over $1 billion, representing 21 industries and 16 geographies.
Honeywell’s Enacto energy management software successfully links monitoring and targeting with building maintenance for improved facilities management. The software platform monitors the energy consumption of buildings and assets individually. Energy use is monitored for deviations against continuously updated baselines to trigger alerts and schedule maintenance events.
