In an effort to improve safety and reduce costs for manufacturing facilities, Honeywell has released the latest version of its UniSim® Design Suite, a process modeling software that enables industrial manufacturers to create steady-state and dynamic models for plant design, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, business planning, and asset management.
Process modelling in plant design can result in up to a 20 percent improvement in engineering effectiveness, as well as a 30 percent reduction in capital expenditures through appropriate material selection.
“Long-term relationships and feedback from our users have been essential to making UniSim Design Suite one of the industry’s most powerful and useful engineering simulation solutions,” said Mike Brown, global director for Advanced Solutions, Honeywell Process Solutions. “Since its launch more than a decade ago, we’ve listened to feedback to develop innovations that are focused on customers’ real-world concerns. The latest innovations introduced with UniSim Design Suite Release R450 are a prime example of that.”
