This October, a new Honeywell China Innovation Wall of Fame was unveiled in the Company’s Shanghai Zhangjiang campus as part of its first Inventor’s Night celebration in China. At the ceremony, 31 talented inventors were inducted onto the Innovation Wall of Fame, honoring individuals who have been granted patents since they joined Honeywell.
Among the inventors is Richard Hou from Honeywell’s Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) business who holds more than 50 granted patents making him the most prolific inventor among all active employees in Honeywell China. Richard’s inventions and innovations mainly focus on illumination, object detection and laser barcode scanner technology.
“I take great pleasure that my ideas transform into differentiated technologies that address customers’ pain points and deliver value for both the Company and customers.” said Richard at the ceremony.
