Safe Kids at Home Program Launching in Kuala Lumpur

Honeywell, in partnership with Safe Kids Malaysia Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Safe Kids Worldwide launched the Safe Kids at Home program in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The program, sponsored by Honeywell Hometown Solutions, the company’s corporate citizenship initiative, helps educate parents and children on how to avoid fire, burn and scalds in the home, with a focus on children ages 7-12 years old.

More than 300 guests attended the launch event organized at UPM, including government officials, representatives from the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, education officials, representatives from Honeywell, as well as 90 students from nine schools that will pilot the program in the coming months.
