Executive Women of New Jersey
(EWNJ) recently offered 22 public companies in the state, including Honeywell, for having three or more women on the board of directors: Linnet Deily, Grace Lieblein, and Robin Washington.
"A Seat at the Table Honor Roll" award was presented to Honeywell Senior Vice President and General Counsel Anne Madden by Barbara E. Kauffman, EWNJ President Elect, at its Corporate Gender Diversity Awards Breakfast in New Brunswick, NJ. EWNJ is an executive women’s network in New Jersey that supports and showcases the advancement of women to top leadership positions and promotes gender diversity in the boardroom.

“These organizations have taken steps to create corporate cultures that
recognize the value that gender diversity delivers," said Michellene Davis, Esq., President of EWNJ and EVP and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at RWJBarnabas Health. "While we still have a long
way to go in ensuring that women and people of color have equal access to
opportunity in top corporate leadership, we’re seeing that our work is making
Honeywell’s board gender diversity achievement is noted in the “A Seat at the Table: Celebrating Women & Board Leadership” report, which was produced by EWNJ based on research done by PwC. The report draws on PwC’s analysis of 2017 data on women in New Jersey’s public corporate boards and includes statistics on the representation of women on the boards of New Jersey’s 95 publicly-held companies in the Russell 3000.
Women in New Jersey’s top companies (the 95 in the Russell 3000) hold 16.9% of board seats, slightly ahead of the national average of 14.1% in Russell 3000 companies overall.
