In their annual reader’s survey, Woman Engineer Magazine, has identified us as the 12th top employer for women engineers.
Respondents to the survey were asked to name companies for which they would most like to work or believe would provide a positive working environment for woman engineers.
According to the magazine, “the overwhelming majority (78%) of respondents to this year’s survey [were full-time] working woman engineers.” Professional levels ranged from students, interns and those just starting in the workforce, to professionals with decades of experience with graduate and doctoral degrees. Health insurance, pension or 401K plans, flex time and family-friendly benefits rank high on the professional priority list for woman engineers.
