Manufacturing Sites Recognized for Safe Work Environment

Plants in Texas and Arizona was honored by U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration

Honeywell’s Bryan, Texas, Electronic Materials manufacturing site has received the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Under VPP, OSHA works directly with manufacturing plants to ensure they have the processes and, more importantly, the sustainable culture to deliver world-class safety.  Bryan is the 26th Honeywell site to achieve this honor.

In addition, the Industrial Commission of Arizona has awarded Honeywell the Exemplary Award for Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), in recognition of six VPP Star certified company sites in Arizona.  We received the award for supporting the agency with VPP activism, mentorships, and additional involvement on the VPP Participants' Association’s Board of Directors. View the full Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health VPP Star list here.

Evan van Hook, Corporate Vice President of Health, Safety, Environment, Product Stewardship and Sustainability accepted the award in front of Arizona state legislators and department officials.
