In December 2014, Honeywell outfitted the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in Long Island, NY with a donation of Honeywell portable carbon monoxide detection devices.
Honeywell's contribution came at the perfect time for the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, as the potential for CO leaks is higher during winter due to increased use of heating systems, leaving people at greater risk of being exposed.
More information about the dangers of CO gas and how to protect against them can be found here.
