    Leveraging the Industrial Internet of Things to Drive Excellence

    Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions hosted a two-day conference to unite top leaders with leaders from its strong network of channel partners and distributors. Nearly 200 attendees participated in roundtable discussions, industry presentations and networking sessions at the inaugural REIMAGINE 2017 Leadership Forum in Florida.“Honeywell is geared to help industrial organizations in the face of rapid technology changes leverage the Industrial Internet of Things to drive excellence in productivity, enhanced safety and product design innovation,” said John Waldron, president and CEO of Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions.The event featured keynote presentations from Dr. Herman Herman, director of the National Robotics Engineering Center at Carnegie Mellon University and from C.J. Bruno, corporate vice president of global accounts for Intel. In his speech, Bruno reinforced that “smart” everything is happening now, that the rise of automation will significantly transform a range of industries during the next decade and, together with Honeywell's ecosystem of partners, there are enormous IoT opportunities available to capture.Topics for the conference included an overview of the major trends and disruptive forces impacting the global business world, a discussion of Honeywell's outcome-driven approach to design and the impact of digital transformation and opportunities it creates.Attendees participated in a number of breakout sessions that covered a range of markets, including: warehousing, logistics, industrial safety, cloud software and retail.The event was a unique opportunity for Honeywell business leaders and its partners to make deeper connections within the business and new connections among its broad partner network. “This past year, we took major steps forward, investing in new technologies, enhancing partner benefits and making changes to our organization to pave the way for success,” said Waldron. “We will continue to learn, listen, and innovate, moving quickly to build a company that creates unique opportunities for its partners.”
