Clément de Valon is the global director for the Independent Aftermarket for Honeywell Transportation Systems. Appointed to this position in July 2012, he is responsible for the global business strategy driving replacement turbochargers in the independent aftermarket, its customer service operations, and the expansion of the Honeywell Garrett product portfolio serving a growing and diverse distribution network. He is based at the TS global headquarters in Rolle, Switzerland, and reports to TS Vice President and Aftermarket General Manager Eric Fraysse.
De Valon, 43, has led the global growth of Honeywell’s aftermarket business through a series of initiatives including: the introduction of Honeywell’s industry-leading variable geometry turbo technology to the independent aftermarket; the development of the new Garrett Original Reman product line of remanufactured replacement turbos to better serve consumer needs; and the rollout of several updated online and digital tools helping distributors and installers better serve end customers.
Prior to joining Honeywell, de Valon worked for Valeo serving finally as the general manager for Aftermarket Wipers Systems. In this role he was responsible for product development and a worldwide network of original equipment supplier and independent aftermarket customers. He is an experienced leader with nearly two decades of experience in the automotive and aftermarket sectors.
De Valon holds an International Business degree from Businesss School in Aix-en-Provence, France and a Master of Marketing Export from Brunel University, London. He is fluent in French and English.
