ExxonMobil Names Honeywell its 2025 Supplier Innovation Award Winner

The recognition underscores Honeywell’s commitment to process automation innovation at ExxonMobil facilities

Honeywell has been named the recipient of ExxonMobil’s 2025 Supplier Innovation Award for its continued operation and innovation of distributed control systems which support critical infrastructure across ExxonMobil facilities globally.

By enabling the operation of existing TDC 3000 systems with the Experion Local Control Network across multiple ExxonMobil sites, Honeywell has helped preserve existing infrastructure including databases, displays, and field wiring with no operational disruptions.

“This recognition is a testament to what is possible when domain expertise meets a commitment to our customers’ long-term success,” said Jim Masso, President and CEO of Honeywell Process Automation. “Our decades-long collaboration with ExxonMobil exemplifies the kind of relationship that delivers real operational value — protecting critical assets, eliminating disruption and enabling our customers to focus on the productivity of their people and processes.”

The ExxonMobil Supplier Innovation Award highlights technologies that drive measurable, enterprise-wide value. Evaluation criteria include uniqueness of innovation, differentiated value creation, and scalability to leverage the innovation across ExxonMobil’s global operations. Honeywell and ExxonMobil have built a strategic relationship over more than 50 years centered on a shared commitment to operational excellence and advancing process automation within the industry.
