Diego Robles is responsible for the product marketing within safety and productivity solutions in Mexico.
This includes identifying market opportunity, deciding messaging, launching and ensuring customers understand the products.
Based in Mexico City, Mexico; here is his #futureshaper story.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a child, I was not sure what I wanted to do. My father was in the military, so I loved the idea of being a part of the military. I also loved computers and technology, especially after the first time I used a computer.
What brought you to Honeywell?
The opportunity to use my knowledge and expertise in marketing to help develop a new local marketing department in what was known at the time as, Honeywell Fire Safety in Mexico.
What gets you excited about going to work every day?
The day-to-day challenges at work and the people and friends I get to work with. Being able to share not only successes, but even a few laughs makes it easy to come back to work the next day.
In your eyes, what qualities does a #futureshaper possess?
Determination, persistence, honesty, eagerness, ethics and the willingness to learn and grow!
What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?
I would recommend you create and follow your own path that fulfills you personally and professionally.
When you are not working, what do you do for fun?
I am a radio amateur and spend time contacting new people and new countries. I also love the outdoors where I can mix my passion for Jeeps and amateur photography.
