Honeywell Aerospace Toulouse Employee Receives Medaille Du Travail

Silver Medal of Honor presented by President Hollande for 20 years’ outstanding achievement in the engineering sector TOULOUSE, France, May 1, 2014 – An employee from Honeywell Aerospace’s (NYSE: HON) Toulouse facility has today received the Médaille du Travail from President Mr. François Hollande and Labour Minster Mr. François Rebsamen in a ceremony at the Elysée Palace, Paris for 20 years’ outstanding achievement in the engineering sector.A Honeywell employee for the past nine years, Nadia Kirova (53) is an electrician working in Honeywell’s Toulouse workshop, where she undertakes electrical repair and overhaul of safety systems for passenger, military and business aircraft. “When I heard that I was to receive a Silver Service Medal I was very surprised - I found it very touching and it is something I am extremely proud of,” said Nadia on her selection for the Médaille du Travail. “It is an honour to be receiving this award from President Hollande and to represent Honeywell and the great work of our Toulouse facility at this event.”The Médaille du Travail is a highly prestigious award given to a few select individuals each year, who are identified by the Labour Ministry as having delivered outstanding work in their particular fields. Nadia was selected for a Silver Medal of Honor, which is awarded for 20 years’ service, for her constently high performance in what is a male-dominated and highly technical industry. Honeywell Aerospace has been located at its currentToulouse site since 2002. The site’s activities consist of the maintenance of aircraft electrical systems as well as technical avionics support. The facility maintains over 12,000 systems annually and is a primary support centre for Honeywell’s French and other European customers including Airbus, Air France and Dassault.
