Honeywell Announces Price Increase for Aclar® Films - December 5, 2014

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J, Dec. 5, 2014 -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Healthcare and Packaging announced today a price increase for its Aclar® films of 4.2 percent on average, effective on all shipments on or after Jan.1, 2015. This increase covers Aclar films for healthcare and pharmaceutical blister packaging applications.The company cited increasing costs of raw material and other operating expenses as the reasons for this price increase. Aclar films are based on poly-chloro-tri-fluoro-ethylene (PCTFE) fluoropolymer technology and have excellent moisture barrier and chemical stability properties.
