Honeywell Presents Deborah Barnhart, CEO, U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Its Hometown Heroes Award

Honeywell's partnership with the USSRC began in 2004 with the launch of the Honeywell Educators @ Space Academy, a scholarship program for middle school math and science teachers. Since then, more than 2,100 teachers have attended the academy, and in turn, have inspired more than 2 million students around the world.In 2010, Honeywell and the USSRC joined forces again, creating the Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy, a program that teaches children of Honeywell employees leadership skills in science, technology, engineering, and math using innovative interactive technology, science-oriented workshops and team exercises.
