Honeywell Announces Price Increases for Phenol and Acetone

HONEYWELL ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASES FOR PHENOL ANDACETONEMORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J., June 18, 2015 Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Resins and Chemicalsannounced today price increases of 3 cents per pound for its phenol and acetone products. Theincreases will be effective for phenol shipments on July 1, 2015 and acetone shipments on June 22,2015, or as contracts allow. This increase covers all grades of phenol and acetone.The company re-evaluated its pricing on its phenol and acetone products in response to marketconditions and raw material costs.Honeywell Resins and Chemicals, a part of Honeywell Performance Materials andTechnologies, manufactures nylon and many chemicals used in its production, including phenol andcaprolactam.Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) is a global leader in developing advancedmaterials, process technologies and automation solutions.
