Honeywell Lights The Way With Ne-Hon 6 – The First Certified High Visibility Single Use Coverall

ROISSY, France, December 02, 2015 Honeywell (NYSE:HON) announces Ne-Hon TM 6, the industry's first single-use High Visibility (HV) coverall with certified chemical protection. Keeping workers safe and visible at all times when undertaking particularly dirty tasks in high risk sectors, the new coverall is ideal for workers in industries such as rail, aerospace, construction and oil and gas. "A truly innovative response to a global challenge laid down by a major national rail operator, Ne-Hon 6 combines chemical protection to recognised EU standards with Class 3 High Visibility," saidDavid Guiho product manager at Honeywell Industrial Safety, EMEA. "Following a major research and development programme, Ne-Hon 6 is designed to be worn over or as an alternative to every day high visibility clothing to protect it from getting dirty. It allows challenging tasks to be tackled in the normal way whilst ensuring responsibilities for worker safety are met, and significantly reducing high laundering costs. The coverall is simply removed and disposed of at the end of a shift and due to its limited storage space, it can be easily carried at all times ready for any unexpected situations." For those likely to encounter chemical hazards, Ne-Hon 6 is chemical resistant in line with EN 13034:2009, (Type 6 cabin test). The coverall is both durable and comfortable due to its lightweight, breathable and water repellent material and is available in sizes S to XXXL. High Visibility to EN20471 Class 3 is achieved through the use of 100% fluorescent orange Polyester with reflective strips. Further features for enhanced comfort include an elasticated rear waist band, raglan sleeves offering superb freedom of movement and a diamond-shaped crotch gusset.In addition to elasticated wrist and ankle cuffs, thumb loops have also been included to prevent the sleeves from riding up, whilst enhanced durability is delivered through reinforced knee sections.
