    Honeywell Names Robert Vislosky Chief Procurement Officer

    MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) has announced today the appointment of Robert Vislosky as Chief Procurement Officer, with responsibilities for the execution of the Company's global procurement and sourcing strategy. He succeeds Mike Slomke, who has retired after 23 years of Honeywell service.

    "Robert's extensive expertise and demonstrated track record in leading procurement, supply chain, and global sourcing excellence will add immediate value to our Company," said Mark James, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Procurement and Communications. "We expect Robert to continue to consolidate Honeywell's global spend to drive margin improvement."

    Vislosky joins Honeywell following Chief Procurement Officer roles with well-known global companies, including XPO Logistics, Valspar, and Reynolds Group, as well as senior-level Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations roles with Alcoa, HB Fuller, and Nova Chemicals. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Carlson School of Supply Chain and Operations at the University of Minnesota.
