Meet a #futureshaper: Jitka Dubravska

When Jitka Dubravska was young she enjoyed learning. Now, she helps students just like herself. 

She finds and helps potential students and talent to fall in love with careers in technology. She leads dozens of activities such as internships, open days, shop tours and workshops.

“We showcase and highlight Honeywell’s innovative technologies with the goal these individuals will see their future with Honeywell,” she said.

Based in Hlubočky Marianské Údolí, Czech Republic; here is her #futureshaper story.

What gets you excited about going to work every day?

I enjoy non-routine work with a wide range of different activities. I love working with and motivating students and young talents to focus on polytechnic studies with the hope one day they will work for us.

Did you ever imagine you would end up in the job you are now?

I always wanted to have a special job where I would feel that I am growing. It is great that it is happening.

If you were a fortune reader, what would you predict as the future of your industry?

I would predict that the future is us. The people who work for Honeywell will help shape the future and make the world a more connected place.

In your eyes, what qualities does a #futureshaper possess?

It is a person who is open minded, thinks out-of-box and motivates others to grow.

What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

Be open minded because newer generations may think, act and see things differently. Be a #futureshaper and set a good example because people perceive you as extension of Honeywell.

When you are not working, what do you do for fun?

I enjoy being active, plus it helps me relax. I like to run, cycle, go cross country skiing, and more.
