    Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

    Why It Matters:
CBAM is reshaping global trade and sustainability standards. Accurate reporting ensures Honeywell and its suppliers remain compliant and competitive in regulated markets.

    Your Responsibilities Under CBAM

If you supply CBAM-eligible goods, you must provide the following data for each product:

    • Contact and location details of the installation (factory) where goods were produced
    • Contact and location details of the operator of those installations
    • Direct and indirect embedded greenhouse gas emissions of the goods, based on:
      •  Average emissions data from the previous calendar year or
      • The most recent three-month period

How to Determine if Your Goods Are Affected:
Use the Compliance Process Excellence Tool to check eligibility and submit required data. Please contact your Honeywell point of contact for access to this tool. To determine what materials require data submission, please read more.

If you supply any of the materials shown in the figure below, you will be responsible for sending emissions data to Honeywell every quarter.

    Here’s what to expect:

    · Honeywell will issue quarterly data requests identifying relevant goods. · Suppliers must submit data using the Compliance Process Excellence Tool.

    · Buyers or commodity managers may reach out to validate submitted data.

    · Non-compliance may result in escalation or exclusion from future sourcing.

    Training Resources:

Additional resources and FAQs on CBAM are available on the EU CBAM website.

Thank you for your continued commitment to compliance. Your partnership is essential in helping Honeywell meet its environmental and regulatory responsibilities.
