History in Saudi Arabia
Our presence in the Kingdom stretches back to the establishment of the Kingdom's first refinery at Ras Tanura in the early 1960s. Our first recorded technology transaction came in 1948 with the sale of thermostats to the company that would later become Saudi Aramco.
What We Do
For more than 60 years, we have been advancing technology, industry and Saudization from our local footprint. We are ready to enable the future of Saudi Arabia and the role our diverse technologies can play in enabling Vision 2030.
With a diverse portfolio of businesses is invested in the Kingdom, we also operate a wholly-owned entity and three joint ventures in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province that support the broader region.
More fuel-efficient aircraft. More direct and on-time flights. Safer skies and airports. We're found on virtually every commercial, defense and space aircraft.
Over 100 years ago, we defined energy efficiency by making indoor comfort automatic. Today, we redefine it in 10 million buildings using our technology.
PERFORMANCE MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGIES
We pioneered automation control. So we understand complex industrial facilities, and how to create high-quality and high-performance chemicals and materials.
SAFETY & PRODUCTIVITY SOLUTIONS
Each year, we keep over half a billion workers safer and more productive with voice-enabled software, barcode scanners, mobile computers and protective equipment.
INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY
As part of our global commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, we actively recruit female candidates for all roles including engineering, sales and project management.
The recent changes in women's workplace regulations now allow our female workforce to engage directly with our customers, including visiting customer sites. In the last years, with the graduate engineering program, we increased the number of female hires by more than 50%.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Since [YEAR], we have been collaborating with Saudi Aramco and King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
Our scientists have been working KFUPM on new catalytic processes for producing paraxylene, an aromatic compound used in making textiles, packaging material and containers.
A facility and training center in the Dhahran Techno Valley provides customer support with reduced turnaround times and improved responsiveness.
MADE IN KINGDOM
The new manufacturing facility in Dhahran supports IKTVA’s (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) localization objectives and creates production jobs for Saudi nationals that enhance workforce skills and capabilities.
Our Honeywell Customer Solutions Center in Dhahran enables in-country manufacturing, integration and testing for advanced automation technologies. The Center also consolidates product assembly and customer testing and acceptance under one roof, making it easier and faster for customers to deploy new technologies around the region.
INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION
The Global TECPro program helps Saudi Arabia transform into a knowledge-based economy through early career development. The 18-month program gives graduates tools, knowledge and experience to develop long-term careers.
With the UOP University, our scientists deliver graduate-level courses on catalysis in refining and petrochemicals and summer training.
The Honeywell Academy in Dhahran boosts professional technical skills and address the challenges of local power and water, oil and gas and automation industries.
